1. Durability: Buildings should withstand their planned service live in their planned environment. A building should be planned and constructed differently, if it is intended to stand in an aggressive environment.
2. Realism: Every project has vulnerablities, application errors and sensitivities, for which we should prepare, and minimize as much as we can.
3. Cost-effectiveness: Every project has a defined budget, and decision making should include cost reduction considerations – both for the short term (construction budget) and the long term (maintenance budget).

The environment conditions (exposure levels) performance and economical significance is set mostly by Israeli standards 118, 466, 940.
There are many additional possibilities when considering other standards, such as 1045 (thermal insulation), 921 (fire resilience), 2378 (cladding) and more.

Application stage:
– Cement mixture requirements and characterization under IS-118 and IS-466
– Concrete consultation and characterization – focused on durability, workability and costs reduction
– Specifications and application definitions for corrosion resilience and management
– Specifications and application definitions for fire resilience

Rehabilitation Stage:
– Diagnosis of building skeleton condition, corrosion, concrete carbonation depth, water penetration sources, stray current sensitivity and damage
